clifford_thornton Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 I had represses of Idle Moments and The Latin Bit, and traded them both away... I'd like to have The Latin Bit back, though. Quote
pasta Posted February 18, 2006 Author Report Posted February 18, 2006 Dusty Groove has the Latin Bit reissue for 12 bucks I think, it's where mine came from. I am an anomaly in that I love ALL of Green's stuff, the bop stuff, organ trio, funky stuff, later lighter stuff, ALL of it! Quote

Plus the Mosaic AND the Japan-only LPs. And "His Majesty King Funk" on Verve, "Iron City" on Cobbelstone, "Easy" on Versaille, "Green Blues" on Muse. Needless to say, I like Grant Green A LOT!! Quote
Jim R Posted February 18, 2006 Report Posted February 18, 2006 I have everything on CD now, but here's what's left of my GG LP's Grant's First Stand (W63rd) Green Street (NY USA) Remembering (Blue Note / Japan / GXF 3071) Gooden's Corner (Blue Note / Japan / GXF 3058) Oleo (Blue Note / Japan / GXF 3065) Quote
sidewinder Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 I have everything on CD now, but here's what's left of my GG LP's ...... Remembering (Blue Note / Japan / GXF 3071) Gooden's Corner (Blue Note / Japan / GXF 3058) Oleo (Blue Note / Japan / GXF 3065) Those King's are excellent. I have 'Matador' and 'Solid' in the King pressings. The Mosaic Green/Clark vinyl is a good sub for the others. Quote

The Magnificent Goldberg Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 (edited) I have every issued recording GG made, either as a leader or sideman, except the Mary Lou Wiliams album.
