JSngry Posted June 12, 2006 Report Posted June 12, 2006 Miami's gonna be pumped for the home opener. If they're going to win one, that should be it. I can see it. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 miami is favored by 4.5 pts you should know by now where i stand my shaq's numbers have been adjusted for the poor play 14 pts and 4 boards Erika was on the USA Sports' Front Page yesterday..... Quote
JSngry Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Again - Miami is liable to come out like a coked-up buzzsaw this evening. If they're going to win one, this is going to be it. Otoh, if they don't win this one, then, yeah, call Bobby Broom. Quote
Guy Berger Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 I actually think Miami will win tonight. Guy Quote

slide_advantage_redoux Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 Is Shaq just too worn out to muster any more fight? He seemed close to pulling a Roberto Duran "No Mas" on Sunday night. He is totally distracted by his abbysmal performance at the free throw line, and he has no one to help him - aside from Wade. The other perimeter and jimp shooters are very little help. Side note: one can see why the Mavs traded off Antoine Walker. He shows no discipline with all those 3 point attempts he puts up. Now if he hit more than he missed, this situation could be different. Soulstation1 Posted June 13, 2006 Author Report Posted June 13, 2006 anyone else notice walker shuffles his feet every time he goes to the hoop Quote

Big Al Posted June 13, 2006 Report Posted June 13, 2006 'course, now that I've jinxed it, Miami probably WILL come out as, like JSngry said, a "coked-up buzzsaw!" (Great line ) Quote

And then he crys about it too. Quote

I trash the guy in every opportunity I get, but I'm not sure the alternatives for Miami are that much better. Guy Quote

Seriously, though, I remember jumping for joy after finding out the Mavs got rid of that guy. Quote
Soulstation1 Posted June 14, 2006 Author Report Posted June 14, 2006 Shaq just made 2 FTs in a row Quote
Big Al Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Yeah, Shaq is definitely back in form tonight! Quote
Big Al Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 D-Wade already at 21 points? At the HALF????? This is the Heat I was dreading at the start of this series. Let's see if my guys can start to find the bucket again! GO MAVS!!! Quote
Big Al Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Haslam is one tough MF!!! You can tell he's in some serious pain! But Josh Howard, that MF is on FIRE!!! Quote
Soulstation1 Posted June 14, 2006 Author Report Posted June 14, 2006 heat have no answer for Dirk Quote
Big Al Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 It's gettin' awfully damn close in the final minutes. D-Wade is a MONSTER tonight! Quote
Big Al Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Helluva game. HELLUVA game!!! I mean it. I know my team lost, but that was a BASKETBALL game tonight. In a way, I'm happy for D-Wade that the Heat won. I mean, DAMN what a night he had! Hope he doesn't do that again anytime soon. Don't know what happened to the Mavs in those last six minutes. Wasn't pleasant to watch, Icantellyouthat! Ah well. We do this again on Thursday. Now it's a SERIES!!!! Somebody better check on Evan, see if he's recuperated yet. Quote
Guy Berger Posted June 14, 2006 Report Posted June 14, 2006 Nice win for the Heat. They caught a major break when that sixth foul wasn't called on Wade. Dallas just went cold in the second half of the 4th. On the other hand, if I'm Dallas I might feel pretty good that Wade gave a superhuman effort and I only lost by 2. Quote
