LF: Liner Notes

[Bright Moments]

i purchased "Another Voyage" by the Ramsey Lewis Trio used from an Amazon Seller. cd came no problem, fast, plays good.

problem: no liner notes (contrary to representation when purchased).

i sent an email to the seller - no response.

i intend to leave negative feedback, but that does not solve my problem.

if anyone has a set i can read, please pm me.

this is an LPR right? I don't have this particular one, but looking at the pics (BB) linked, chances are there never were any liner notes.

I'm with John. I have this at home somewhere, but I won't be home for a few months. . . so I can't check. But I don't think it came with liner notes.

Yes, I understand it's a CD. Do you mean it's a digipac? That's just how they make these things.

If there were no liners -- save for a tracklist and a few lines of yadda -- on the original LP, there will be no liners with the LPR CD.

it is one of those cardboard jobs with an opening on the left flap to slide in a booklet. the cd lays flat on the right side.

Yeah, Verve used those for the series whether there was an insert with a back cover or liner notes. . . or not.

rest assure: there are no liner notes inside this one. As you can see on the back of the digipack (which is a repro of the original LP) there are none so the inclusion of a paper with no liner notes seemed (even for Universal) a not so good idea!!!

My copy has no linear notes booklet. Just an "Obi" kind of strip with some promotional text about the recording
