felser
I enjoyed the J-Mac'isms on his first three Novus CD's, and he ripped it up when I saw him live at a Penn's Landing concert in the early 90's (with Brad Mehldau making the best of a woefully out of tune piano). Then he made that strange Gil Evans-ish CD, was dropped by Novus, and I've never heard anything more about his doings. That's been about 15 years. Free For All
Then he made that strange Fil Evans-ish CD I liked that recording- Kenny Werner did all the arrangements, and it did have a Gil Evans-ish tone to it. I was also wondering recently about what happened to Hollyday.
relyles
I remember this question was raised on another forum a couple of years ago and if I remember correctly someone found some information that Hollyday was teaching some place. Guest Bill Barton
I also wonder what his brother Richard is doing these days. When I was living in Vermont the Hollyday Brothers band played at the Discover Jazz Festival one year. For me, trumpeter Richard was the more original and interesting (and lyrical) of the two, but he didn't record anything (to the best of my knowledge) after the small label disc with Christopher. Any leads on his whereabouts?

James
It's been quite a few years now, but Christopher was sidelined for a time as a result of a serious auto accident. It's my understanding that he sustained serious injuries, but fortunately pulled through with a very strong recovery.
