ejp626 Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 I am sorry to hear of your loss, esp. for her to die so young. I don't have cats now, but have had them in the past and understand how attached one can get to them. Quote
porcy62 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Sorry GS, I growned up in countryside surrounded by dogs and cats, I still remember every name of them, I understand how bad it could be. I wish you the best. Quote
ASNL77 Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) Sorry to hear about your loss. We have two cats ourselves and the idea that we could lose them makes me so sad. We are so attached to them. All the best Goodspeak. Edited November 28, 2007 by ASNL77 Quote
GA Russell Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 I'm sorry, GoodSpeak. I agree with Chris that you should consider getting another to love. Quote
catesta Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Sorry to hear of your loss, Tim. I lost 2 Doberman's, Mingus and Bessie, a few years back and went through a lot when Mingus slowly died from cancer and I was making regular trips to the animal hospital. I think you should consider getting another cat. Sorry to hear of your loss, GS, I've been though it myself and know what a terrible feeling it is. Chris, did you ever get yourself another pet? Quote
Christiern Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 When, after Mingus's 3rd operation, the animal medical center informed me that he would not live much longer, I acquired Bessie. When Bessie died after being hit by a car (my neighbor's son let her off the leash on the wrong side of the street), I decided not to get another dog. I used to take care of Toshiko's dog when she was on tour, but he died of a stroke while in my custody. I wish I had the energy and patience to go through the training and walking that dogs require, but.... Quote
