Amazon downloads?

So, I just purchased an OOP Verve title for the first time via Amazon Downloads. I installed their software, and I'll be damned if I can find the files that I supposedly downloaded anywhere on my computer (they should be showing up in my Windows Media Library, according to their online help guide). I've contacted customer service, but in the meantime, any other Big O posters ever encountered this issue?

Happened to me too. I contacted customer service and have not received a response as yet.

Regarding customer service: I had some problems recently with Apple iTunes downloads, and their customer service was exceptionally fast, solicitous, and helpful. While their bitrates aren't as good, I thought this was a great way of doing business.

Amazon did get back to me, sending a detailed e-mail that enabled me to re-download the files and then locate them on my computer--though it took quite awhile for the process to work and seemed much more complicated than it should be.

256k bitrates for Amazon, vs 128k for iTunes (tho iTunes plus are 256k). Also, Amazon can be a lot cheaper - check out the prices for ECM downloads.

Thanks for the info. I've just noticed that the downloads are only available to US customers so that pretty much fixes that, I guess!
