Does anyone know anything about this recording? Has it ever been issued? I would say it has, since it is Charlie Parker. I've searched for it, being a collector of anything I can find of Parker; but I have never come across this.

Well, it appears to have been a Spotlite lp:

Charlie Parker Quintet

Miles Davis (tp) Charlie Parker (as) Joe Albany (p) Addison Farmer (b) Chuck Thompson (d)

"Finale Club", Los Angeles, CA, early March, 1946

Blue 'N' Boogie Spotlite [E] SPJ 123

Anthropology -

Billie's Bounce -

Ornithology -

All The Things You Are -

* Charlie Parker - Yardbird In Lotus Land (Spotlite [E] SPJ 123)

No cd issue is popping into my noggin, but odds are it has been out somewhere, Masters of Jazz, or Black Label or. . . ?

Joe: I'm afraid at this moment there's no trace of this disc at amazon.fr or parisjazzcorner, which are the most reliable sources for Masters of Jazz CDs. But you can check there from time to time, as it may appear. Good luck! (so far I only have volumes 1&2 from those Young Bird series on MoJ)
