medjuck Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 I just noticed that my posts are being spellchecked even though I'm using Safari as my browser. How Long has this been going on? (Until now I've had to use Firefox if I wanted Spellcheck.) Quote

Sundog Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I just noticed that my posts are being spellchecked even though I'm using Safari as my browser. How Long has this been going on? ...part of the OSX 10.4.11 upgrade (and I assume Leopard as well). Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Ah, I'm using Internet Explorer. And I can spell when I want to and when I can't I have an English dictionary on a bookshelf somewhere. Spell checkers can't spell anyway. And they have a VERY limited vocabulary of swear words. Load of bollocks! MG Quote
MoGrubb Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 (edited) I just noticed that my posts are being spellchecked even though I'm using Safari as my browser. How Long has this been going on? (Until now I've had to use Firefox if I wanted Spellcheck.) Is this bad, good, etc.? I always use my own spellchec ke r, I didn't notice an automatic thingy happening, if an automatic thingy is indeed happening with my IE. Edited February 2, 2008 by MoGrubb Quote
Christiern Posted February 17, 2008 Report Posted February 17, 2008 It's the OS X software, but it didn't begin with Leopard--As I recall, my browser was spell-checking prior to Tiger. Quote
