six string Posted October 29, 2008 Report Posted October 29, 2008 I have the Kirk's Works on lp and I almost bought The Funk Underneath on lp a few months ago until I read the cover info. Funny how reading a little can help you prevent a double purchase. One of the few holes I have in my RRK collection is the one he did with Benny Golson on Mercury. Does anyone know where I can find that one? Quote

I didn't buy the box because I had all of the albums on lp except for that one. Someone's sorted me out though. I knew it would be a good album. How could it not with Golson AND RRK together, not to mention the stellar group playing with them? Quote
