Wow! Big fan of Watkins, especially the BN 10inchers. Too bad I don't live anywhere near Seattle. I see that one of the presenters, Patrick Smith, has an upcoming book on Watkins. That could be a very interesting read. Does anyone know anything about Patrick Smith? Is this his first book?

There's a 99.333334 percent chance that I will be there and will be happy to report on the proceedings. Recently heard Tom Varner with John Sinton's Ideal Bread West playing the music of Steve Lacy and he was brilliant as usual.
