was wondering if you can name some of your favorite musc blogs - preferably intelligent ones read by discerning people of all races, creeds, colors, and religious faiths (except maybe devil worship, unless it involves sacrificing virgins).

I've yet to find a music blog, or blog of any kind for that matter, of the standard of On An Overgrown Path.

This guy has spent a lifetime working in the classical music industry. The blog has a nice line in myth busting and demystification underscored by its writer's good taste and way with words.

Agustin Perez has an excellent blog on early jazz, Mule Walk & Jazz Talk.

yes, i particularly like that one by marc myers. i find it has the right tone. i remember a recent and very interesting interview with howard rumsey, which i enjoyed a lot.
