Free For All Posted October 19, 2009 Report Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) I heard about this over the weekend. If there is already a thread let me know. Tony was in Corpus Christi for a performance- he apparently fell in the hotel and hit his head hard on the floor. He was rushed to the hospital and had surgery to ease pressure on his brain. The latest I've heard is that he seems to be out of immediate danger but there is likely fairly significant damage that may limit the extent of his recovery. I've known Tony for a long time going back to my Austin days. He is a very talented artist and beloved by all who know him. This is unbelievably sad news and I am hoping for the best. Please keep Tony in your thoughts and prayers. FYI, he does have a fan page on Facebook where there have been updates on his condition. Edited March 8, 2010 by Free For All Quote

Stereojack Posted March 8, 2010 Report Posted March 8, 2010 A buddy of mine who lives in Austin hipped me to him some years ago. A damn fine player, and this is very sad news. Quote
