David Ayers Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 (edited) I guess if it has been around 35 years it can stay around for another day or two till you order it up. Seriously, it's a rewarding one as these things go, if maybe not a beast, so I say go for it. Surprised you don't have it already... ahem Edited to add...that the LP has more character - Edited March 3, 2010 by David Ayers Quote
clifford_thornton Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 Def. one of my favorite Delmark covers. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted March 3, 2010 Report Posted March 3, 2010 But the tapes were sent from France - was Anthony really there when the artwork arrived? The record was issued in 1974, so maybe. At my age, with so many memories, timelines wander. Anyway, while working on the reissue, I wanted the original cover but was ignored. Same with Three Compositions. I recently told the folks at Delmark I wanted another crack at remastering that disc and using the original art was a condition. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 (edited) Thanks. I do remember the original tapes were in some format exclusive to Europe (I was told) and the tapes I worked with, for the cd reissue, were translations made back in the '70s. Not sure what the problem was. Edited March 4, 2010 by Chuck Nessa Quote
