J.A.W. Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 Harvey Fuqua, founder of doo-wop group the Moonglows and Motown executive, has died. He was 80. obit obit Quote
JSngry Posted July 7, 2010 Report Posted July 7, 2010 The Moonglows did some great work. They were a cut above. And Harvey Fuqua was a survivor (until now, anyway...). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNtlYY97uJo The ultimate doo-wop record here? There's a Moonglows a capella record from a few years bavk that is rare, expensive, and worth every penny, just to hear those voices in that blend at those tempos. Rare beauty, it is. Do long, Harvey, & tell Marvin we still miss him. Quote
