chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez
i just got this 45 rpm and on one song, gene harris plays the celeste. its kind of startling to hear a celeste on a blue note record at first-- my q is, i dont have this lp, does he do that on the whole album, or just the single? brownie
Just the single (Blue Bells). A BN celeste precedent... Meade Lux Lewis with the Edmond Hall Celeste Quartet (with Charlie Christian and Israel Crosby) back in February 1941. The session that produced Profoundly Blue and Celestial Express.
