John Lydon said of his step-daughter that she died due to a "serious illness," but that's all that is publicly known for now. She was sweet and loads of fun. She'll be missed. Hard to believe anyone with that much youthful energy could be taken away at 48. She was only 17 when the first Slits LP came out. R.I.P. Ari Up Thanks for the link. If we need a jazz connection here, Don Cherry toured with The Slits in '79 and Don brought his step-daughter Neneh along. She later joined the band.
