RIP Teena Marie

R&B heavyweight Teena Marie is dead at 54. Not much in the way of details. She had an incredible voice and did some very beautiful and innovative things through the past three decades. She was a great talent who sang, wrote her own music, played several instruments on her albums, and produced herself. Her 1988 album 'Naked To The World' is one of my all-time Favorites, and I also really like her other late-Motown and early-Epic albums. She made a very successful comeback in recent years, and will be greatly missed.
