GA Russell Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Archaeologists believe that they have discovered the tomb of St. Philip, one of the twelve apostles. As one of the commenters said, even if you don't believe in religion, it's pretty cool to discover a tomb from 80 AD. http://www.foxnews.com/scitech/2011/07/27/tomb-st-philip-apostle-discovered-in-turkey/?test=latestnews#content Quote
Ted O'Reilly Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Is there any proof that he did, in fact, invent Milk of Magnesia? Did they find any blue bottles in the crypt?(I think Magnesia is just down the road from Hierapolis...) Quote
sonnymax Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 If it comes from Fox News/News Corp, it's got to be true, right? After all, they're the ones who reported that the Taliban was training monkeys to shoot Americans. Quote

BERIGAN Posted August 2, 2011 Report Posted August 2, 2011 If it comes from Fox News/News Corp, it's got to be true, right? After all, they're the ones who reported that the Taliban was training monkeys to shoot Americans. Actually CNN, Huffington Post, and Fox reported on the story, and no one seemed to take the original story from a Chinese paper seriously...want me to dig up fake stories from CNN and the NYT and move this to the political section, or do we want to stay on the topic at hand???
