Free For All Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Hard to believe that's a PHOTO! Wow! Quote
JSngry Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 (edited) The rings are more translucent than any image I've ever seen before. Pretty breathtaking. Edited September 9, 2011 by JSngry Quote
RDK Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Awesome photo! Some of the comments following it, though, are... interesting. Quote
gmonahan Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Watch the fly-by footage. It's exquisite. gregmo Quote
papsrus Posted September 9, 2011 Report Posted September 9, 2011 Beautiful. Fly-by footage is really something. Quote
BFrank Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 As romantic as manned space flight sounds, these robotic flights to distant planets are MUCH more scientifically sound. How about those Mars rovers? They were only supposed to last for 3 months. One just died, but the other one is still going ... 7 YEARS later! Quote
Jazzmoose Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 Thanks for the new desktop background! Quote
BruceH Posted September 10, 2011 Report Posted September 10, 2011 I don't believe that picture of Saturn. (Well, I guess I do, really.) Quote
