Saw her back in the day (ca. 1976-1977-1978) as the opening artist at one of the concerts Leo Gadson produced at the Ethical Society in Philly, and she was really good even back then in her early 20's. Wonderful series of concerts, though I don't imagine he made a penny on them. Juju played right around the time of their 'African Rhythms' album, and like 20 people showed up. Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, George Adams/Hannibal Peterson, Jackie McLean. Monette Sudler opened for one of the shows. Others I can't remember through the haze, but great stuff, low ticket prices, and a beautiful hall.
