chewy-chew-chew-bean-benitez Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 the actual credit reads, peculiarly, Cover Design: John Berg / Photography: Reid Miles still, im surpised. I never liked this cover. but i finally found a nice made in japan cd press of it (which sounds great...) Quote
Mark Stryker Posted November 24, 2012 Report Posted November 24, 2012 (edited) Nothing peculiar about the credit. Miles took the photo; Berg did the graphic design. You wouldn't say this is a Reid Miles cover; it's a John Berg cover in the same way that the BN's were Reid Miles covers with photography by Frank Wolff. If there's any irony, it's that particular turnabout -- that in this case it was Miles who took the picture, though he did work as a commercial photographer and while I can't put my finger on any of them at this moment, didn't he take some photos used for some BN covers? I know he did the lady on 'Let em roll' and 'Mustang'. Didn't know he did the Grandassa Models sleeves, though. Must check. MG Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted November 27, 2012 Report Posted November 27, 2012 Interesting - for Alligator Boogaloo and Mr. Shing-a-ling the model is Peggy Moffitt aka Mrs William Claxton. Quote
The Magnificent Goldberg Posted November 27, 2012 Report Posted November 27, 2012 Ah ha! Never noticed those were Reid's before. MG Quote
