I know there is an thread about his health, but I think this was deserving of it's own thread.

There is a tribute concert to help him financially for those in the area.

Even if you can't make it....there is the Arthur Blythe Parkinson fund you can use to donate . Link below.

I have always thought his core Columbia recordings would make a great Mosaic Select. I don't know if he would see any of the money or whether it would be significant.

I don't think royalties from some dream release from a fan is what he, or his family are concerned about.

This is about making whatever time left is better for him.

Once again....for anyone that wants to help him....and not turn this into a reissue/remastering/etc. thing (seriously!).....you have no idea what I really wanted to say to your post.

Listening to Lennox AB right now and hoping that Mr Blythe is able to find comfort and respite at home.

Thanks for highlighting the donation possibilty.

Maybe folk could donate what they would pay for that "wish list" Mosaic?

Blue Train - just wondering whether it might be worth considering changing the Thread title to highlight the donation possibility. Many may not look if they think it's a show they're unable to attend geographically. just a thought

Thanks.....great idea....I changed the title of the thread. Also allows me to bump this up again.
