colinmce
I've been looking all over for this CD and so far have only found two sources-- one overseas that is very expensive, and DMG. DMG asks for credit card info via e-mail and I'm just too paranoid to ever consider that, irrational as it may be. Anyone have any other tips? (Of course, on the off chance someone here is looking to unload, I'd offer the DMG price of $20.)
erwbol
The cheapest from Holland seems to be bol.com with €3.45 for shipping to North America. The CD is €1 cheaper at Platomania, but they charge €6 shipping. Both sites are in Dutch. The actual cost of shipping a one CD letter to North America from The Netherlands is €5 (100 - 250 grams). page
Ah, Eric Boeren, I have seen him perform a few times. Eric is with a company called "dOeK". They are a collective of improvising musicians. They offer it on their website here: http://doek.bandcamp.com/album/coconut The cd would be around $25,-. with shipment. That may seem a lot but this way the artist gets payed in a fair way. Cd's are far more expensive in Europe than they are in the US, so that's one reason I'm carefully picking my choices. Both sites erwbol mentioned are a good way. Ordering through dOeK would save you a few dollars, but not that much. There is something said about that taxes may apply but that probably is the case with the online stores too. Btw, I don't think it is irrational to hesitate giving your creditcard info through e-mail, I'd think it is wise. erwbol
Bol.com and platomania.eu would be difficult to navigate with no knowledge of the Dutch language. And they both list the item as able to ship in a few weeks time at the earliest.
page
Hm, you're right there. The site of dOeK shows English btw. He's playing in Chicago tomorrow (not with the quartet), but that probably is a long way to drive for you. http://www.doek.org/agenda/ Edited November 9, 2013 by page

page
Just out of curiosity. Can I ask how much you've payed with shipment and tax included? Edited November 9, 2013 by page
jlhoots
Just out of curiosity. Can I ask how much you've payed with shipment and tax included? Yikes - I don't see it on the site any longer. It was / is PB003. Wasn't cheap - I think around 18 euros + shipping, so probably $25+ U.S.

Clunky
Great CD. I bought it from:http://subdist.com/shop.htm Worth the price. This site is very reliable. IIRC postage was included in the cost of the CDs but perhaps it's different shipping stateside.
colinmce
Thanks all. Subterranean was the distro I alluded to above, but I misread and thought the price was e17,5 PLUS tax & shipping, not inclusive. So actually that seems to be the bargain at about $24. I'll go with that.

I guess it is only an internet shop since I've never noticed an actual store in that street. Just out of curiosity. Can I ask how much you've payed with shipment and tax included?
