I've been told the ID tags somehow are apparent when playing them on the computer. I have no idea how; I stripped them when making flacs, then reviewing them again file by file before compression. I apologize, and hope at least everyone can enjoy the sets for what they are.

The tags were apparent on my mp3 player too unfortunately but l only got spoiled for the first track before I removed the tags (with mp3tag) and that seems to have worked. So I can take the test as normal. When I get a chance to listen properly I'll definitely post my thoughts in the discussion thread!

I am about the least technically adept person, not just on this board, but anywhere. Perhaps because of this, my BFTs have been plagued with problems, which other members have helped me with. I perceive from those experiences that there must be something you could do to resend the download without any information about the artists and song titles being included.

What it is that you could do, I don't know, and would defer to someone who knows much more than I, about tech issues.

I'm sorry this happened to you, Stefan. It must feel like your efforts are waisted. I didn't notice right away since you've used FLAC files and I can only play that in Jet audio and I do not use it that much. After I've noticed I tried to throw away the properties, but they show up again when you'll click a file to play. I didn't see all the titles of the first, about 5 I think and the second album I didn't see at all and I'll wait to play them, 'till someone has a solution to this. Maybe someone could help and clean the files to help, Stefan? I didn't know any of the titles I saw, so I have forgotten already. I really liked the songs I played so far and did take notes, so what ever happens I'll comment later this month on my experience with your BFT.

I think I am going to whip up one more disc tonight or tomorrow. I have an idea of how to bring in the files without having any music player do an auto ID of the tracks. Everything is so automated that it is very hard to make things anonymous. Until then, at least enjoy the mixes.

I also had tags show up on mine in October. To me, the great thing about the BFT's isn't the guessing anyways, it's the chance to share some possibly little-known things we like with one another. I have benefitted much more from discovering/re-discovering good cuts and artists than from any "aha" factors in the reveals.
