Mother Mallard's Portable Masterpiece Company

Anyone here know this ensemble? I only know their first album, which I've played with pleasure for lo these 40 years or so. A synthesizer band out of Ithaca, NY; largely the work of David Borden. Their approach predates Tangerine Dream.

I'm pretty sure that I got one of their albums from Wayside Music ca. 1982. As I recall, it had a very dark cover. Maybe I can find it in a box.

I used to hear them on WBAI in the early 70s.

I just have the first LP but it's cool. Borden is still living in Ithaca I think.
