I have very mixed feelings about D. Rose, but it is very clear that his body is not going to go along with his style of play. He has probably already hit his peak and will have good streaks and bad streaks but will never really be an MVP-level player again. It's a damn shame, but at this point the Bulls absolutely need to start planning for Life After Rose.

RIP Anthony Mason, Mase. He was part of the heart and soul of the Knicks in the 90s, a scrappy, tenacious player who was a lot like the city he was from and played. He was a heck of a player in his five years with them.

Only 48, too young to go.

I watched a bit of it. Turned it off when Jalen Rose came on - an idiot who knows little, thinks he knows everything and will run his mouth all day long. The Fab Five were one of the biggest hypes ever foisted on American sports fans. None of them ever played on a team that won a championship - college or pro - except for Juwan Howard with the Heat, and that was when he was a washed up bench player.

Seven - count 'em. 7 - players (none seniors) from the Kentucky team have declared themselves eligible for the NBA draft. Does anyone believe that seven players from one college team are ready to play in the NBA? If they are, the standards for players in the NBA are pretty sorry these days.

Clippers vs Spurs might be best series in the post season

it was a very good series but the best may yet come. I am looking forward to tonite's openers.

I haven't been really following these series, though it appears the Cleveland-Chicago series is better than I would have thought (perhaps wouldn't have been so evenly matched if Love hadn't gotten hurt). Anyway, with 3 seconds left, Cleveland hits a 3 pointer to tie the game. Anything can happen in overtime. Cleveland seems to have the momentum...

Anyway, Bulls draw up a play and Rose hits a 3-pointer (I think the only one he made in the game) with basically no time left on the clock. Unbelievable. Bulls need to come out a bit stronger in game 4 if they are going to hang onto home court advantage (which they have stolen away from Cleveland). I'm sure my wife is happy and so relieved that they don't have to keep going tonight.

Wizards. Paul Pierce with a great game winning shot. They are proving themselves, especially when their star is hurt.
