Apparently there are many(ish)

Has anybody done a project on these yet? Not sure how "worthwhile" it would be given the recorded charts, but I do feel that "Rocker" as heard in live performances was more to the point than were many of the standards, and there are other Mulligan charts in there.

End point - "Ezz-thetic"...I feel a need to hear that at least once. And not like this:

And ok, Carisi!

this reminds me in world with Braxton Bird (not my fave AB) & Braxton operas (always interesting, often great), someone, Braxton or otherwise, should commit to & extend etc these charts, this concept--

I have a recording of the JALC performing the unrecorded ones. There were big time guests on that recording. I have to dig out the recording to see who they are. I can't remember this early in the morning and without my coffee.

I you get a chance to pull out the details, that would be great!

I'm also assuming that this is a private recording, and not a commercially released affair, correct?

well, "Goldrush" is on the Rockland Concert 1952. That whole concert is really great Bird. the other Bird with Strings live that I like very much are the two Birdland sets from 1953, with some conversation with Symphony Sid.

Rockland also has a version of Stardust with strings that isn't listed here. (And btw I just noticed that the listings of the songs on the 2nd disc are all screwed up.)
