I recently picked up the CD at library book sale. Initial impressions: It sounded like "old-school" (as in mid-20th c.) Bach. Romanticized and rhapsodic, rather than architectural. Not at all HIP -- but I enjoyed it. What are your thoughts on Pires' Bach? Quote
