Calling all art enthusiasts! Thanks to The Art Institute of Chicago, you can now experience the magnificent work of  Vincent Van Gogh like never before: A life-size replica of his famous painting, Bedroom In Arles, is available to rent on Airbnb.

The dreamy bedroom, which is located in River North, Chicago, was built to promote Van Gogh's Bedrooms, a new exhibit at the museum that will feature all three versions of the painting for the first time in North America, from February 14 to May 10. The replica nails Van Gogh's post-impressionist style down to the details, allowing you to see the world from the artist's perspective for a night.

It's a neat idea.  I saw this a day ago.  I'll actually be in Chicago at the end of March and will check out the exhibit.  I think my family needs a slightly bigger hotel room than this, however...

Looks nice! Funny that the exhibit in Chicago is about bedrooms. Just got a mail today of the Van Gogh museum itself, there will be an exhibit about prostitution in French art according Van Gogh called "Lichte zeden" (translated as "Easy virtue") starting next week. http://www.vangoghmuseum.nl/en/whats-on/exhibitions/easy-virtue

Why not? You only live once!  It looks much better than the original painting. And .....it's only  $10 per night,  for 2 persons !
