It's excellent.  Glen Hall is a strong saxophonist (ts, ss, b cl) who moves freely from "inside" to "out," and the rhythm section is non-pareil.  It was originally released in 1979 on the tiny Sonora label. 

Koch apparently thought enough of the record to reissue it back in the 1990s when they were dabbling in jazz.  Their decision gets a "seal of approval" from me.
