One of my dearest albums in the early Seventies was Gato´s "Under Fire" (Flying Dutchman)
Exciting music with excellent sidemen, among others Airto, John Abercrombie, Stanley Clarke, Roy Haynes and Lonnie Liston Smith. Highly recommended!

YES !!!   I have a CD that pairs Under Fire with Bolivia.  TREMENDOUS music.  :) 

Gato's run of albums for Impulse is damn impressive--but I think his Flying Dutchman records hit me even harder.  I think it has something to do with those amazing bands.
