Purple patch of BN's there. Almost can't miss with classic Silver. Quote

The title tune is one for the ages! The sound of this record was a revelation when it was new. Rahsaan Roland Kirk "Volunteered Slavery" Rhino cd The Atlantic period has really grown on me alot. Intially bought this one nearly 20 years ago, and didn't dig it and sold it. Then the original album series came out and included this title, and now I find this one, along with the other Atlantics as important as the Mercurys. So glad to have this one back in the fold. jazzbo Posted Friday at 09:36 AM Report Posted Friday at 09:36 AM Warm, stuffy. . .slept okay. Man the system sound great! A new tube is settling in nicely. Starting off with the album that made me realize the mastery of Joel Ross and Immanuel Wilkins. Music that draws me in from the first vibraphone notes. Joel Ross “Kingmaker” Blue Note cd Quote

Gheorghe Posted Friday at 04:18 PM Report Posted Friday at 04:18 PM This was very very popular when I was beginning to listen to Afro-American Music. It was just around, everybody knew it. I still love it ! Quote
