I was very happy when they were reissued a few years ago and grabbed quite a few, including that one. Edited 8 hours ago by BFrank Quote

jazzbo Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago (edited) Had trouble sleeping so I woke up and took care of a task, let Memphis outside for “business” and now am warming up with a cup of organic Mexican coffee. It’s COLD. Which felt nice. Starting off with the new Charles Lloyd, “Figure in Blue” on Blue Note, 2 cd set, disc 1 I’m not a HUGE Lloyd fan, I liked him up til ECM, not much of a fan of his ECM work or his work with the Marvels or others on Blue Note but liked his last one and this one is also very nice. A trio with piano and guitar. I'm a big fan of Moran, and Marvin Sewell's sound is really dialed in nicely. 230×230 8.44 KB Edited 2 hours ago by jazzbo Quote
