A nice quiet Christmas . . . survived. Wish I could cancel the weekly brunch with sister- and brother-in-law, just don’t feel like going out but will. Cold, but no precipitation.

The stereo is warming up and sounding so so good. Enjoying this Getz recording with the amazing Alex Blake on bass.

This is a very nice album. This working band shines in the studio. Harrell’s uniqueness carries on through his HIgh Note recordings. . . a style that is cohesive and involving.
