Any NYC-area O posters interested in these shows? I’m most likely going to the Saturday-evening performance. (And hoping to catch J.D. Allen’s afterhours set the night before.)

Good to hear that he's back out there. He was injured back in February and had to cancel a few gigs. I hope he can make his way back to Boston soon.

I was amazed to read that his wife Toshiko turned 88 in December.

I’m looking forward to this being streamed. Last time I saw him was with his quartet in a club in Southern California in 1999. I think it was at Steamers in Fullerton.

they're all worn out after coming to see us at Dizzy's.

Perhaps, but the trio is playing Dizzy's as well on April 3 & 4, with guest Randy Brecker. Alas, no Boston dates listed.
