Turned 90 on 11-18-18.  Had a concert/party at the Rosendale Café in Kingston NY area last night and another in two days at the Blue Note

Looking at her schedule, she's a wonder. A lot of people couldn't do that at 50, let alone 90.

To demonstrate how versatile Ms. Jordan can be/is, listen to her in this very different setting/mood from the video above.  It's one of my favorite performances by Ms. Jordan and probably my favorite interpretation of this song, "The Water Is Wide".

Sheila has a home in the mid Hudson valley area. Plays 2-3 times a year in that area in small clubs like the Rosendale.  I typically can catch her once a year-always a treat.

I'm seeing her at SFJAZZ in January with Cameron Brown. Never seen her and really looking forward to it. It's a very small venue, too - holds about 100.
