They're trying to make it look like it's one of those LPs that Joe Blow could walk in off the street and cut in an hour "back in the day" but when you hear it (https://tramprecords.bandcamp.com/album/untitled) it sounds like a modern recording. Seems like a marketing thing to me.

By the way - it's already sold out, so their marketing ploy seems to have worked.
