Ken Dryden
I will need to find a source to buy this CD. I have a Musidisc LP of Grappelli playing piano recorded in the 1950s, signed and dated by him before entering the studio to tape his appearance on Marian McPartland's Piano Jazz, plus the My Other Love CD. AllenLowe
I am intrigued but I find his intros....tedious. In terms of sheer pianism, if you had played this for me in a blindfold test, I would say it sounds exactly like Hank Jones in the '70s. But the most annoying thing is that the samples are almost entirely the intros, and fade as soon as he gets to the point.
