Teasing the Korean Posted December 31, 2022 Report Posted December 31, 2022 These are the first discs I reach for when selecting music for a party. danasgoodstuff Posted December 31, 2022 Report Posted December 31, 2022 I'm hit and miss on those comps 'cause to me they mix things I very much enjoy with things I really don't, but not everyone makes such fine distinctions, and I can definitely see them working in that sort of social context. JSngry Posted January 1, 2023 Report Posted January 1, 2023 Same thing for road trips of mixed taste company. For what is a road trip if not a party on wheels where everybody splits the gas? Quote
Late Posted January 5, 2023 Report Posted January 5, 2023 Along the same lines, there were three Grant Green comps, released in 2005 by Blue Note, under the banner The Original Jam Master that are really good, and good for a party atmosphere. Volume 2: Quote
