GREAT bridge.

A friend arrange it for lab band last century, and they laughed before playing it. They laughed afterwards as well, but not for the same reasons.

Some tunes get stigmatized by context and require a certain distance in order to be taken seriously as the tunes they reall are. Sometimes that happens, sometimes not.

This one should, it's on the par with, imo.

Yes, and it is a great melody already without that bridge, and then the bridge takes it to this whole new place!!!

And that interlude, that I believe is used as the intro to the closing credits!

I would've written an arr. on that, but it's too well known. Way too well known. I'll only arr. a tune from an obscure movie. One tune was from an obscure movie PLUS it wasn't even played in that movie! How much more obscure can you get than that?
