chris olivarez Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Perhaps something that the vast majority of us can agree on. Before you go to bed on Saturday set your clock ahead one hour. Do you have any plans for that extra hour? Do you have any good time change stories? Quote
jazzbo Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I wish they would leave it alone! It is so beautiful right now when I wait at the bus stop and walk to and from the bus stop in the mornings now! Just after dawn, so fresh, that early morning light is the best stuff! And now next week it's back to predawn bleariness. . . . It's even worse when one falls back. My cat who never fails to faithfully awaken me at 4:50 a.m. all of a sudden, and for a long time, starts waking me at 3:50 a. m.! Quote
AfricaBrass Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 I wish they'd leave it alone too. Just about the time that I get used to the "spring forward" part, it's time to "fall back" again. Quote

JSngry Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Plans for WHAT "extra" hour? It's being held in escrow! Actually, I've come to enjoy DST over the years. When my kids were younger, it gave them more daylight to play in during the summer, and that's a good thing. They're both in their teens now, so it matters less to them, but I've gotten used to it. In our neighborhood, people are more likely to linger outside in the summer because it's light longer, so you get to see them and mingle some like you don't the rest of the year, which is usually a good thing. catesta Posted April 2, 2004 Report Posted April 2, 2004 Saskatchewan? No thanks, I'm trying to quit. Quote
