The Magnificent Goldberg Posted February 3, 2010 Report Posted February 3, 2010 Sorry - there's no image on the web for this one - too bleedin' obscure. Lorenzo Holden - Cry of the wounded jukebox - Southland What about that for a title, eh? Holden played tenor sax with Les Hite in the forties and Johnny Otis in the early fifties when Otis was #1 R&B seller in the US. After leaving Otis, he developed the tenor/organ combo on the west coast, with Ernie Freeman. This interesting compilation appears to have everything he recorded as a leader. Some REALLY nice stuff here. MG Quote

B. Goren.
