This one is a favorite of mine, with John Mealing on organ.  I was pleasantly surprised to read in the Soft Machine bio Out-Bloody-Rageous that felser recommended that very early on, Robert Wyatt played drums in a jazz trio with Mealing on piano.

Saw him with Roscoe and the expanded AEC at Big Ears in 2019

The performances in the cities I mentioned took place at festivals: Jazzfest Berlin, Jazztime Hildesheim, Documenta Kassel, Jazzfestival Göttingen ...

Mine as well, the Enjoy Jazz festival, the lineup was remarkable that day, a two tenor frontline of Yusef Lateef and Shepp, accompanied by Mulgrew Miller, Reggie Workman and Hamid Drake but the concert didn't quite live up to that...

I also have mixed memories, but that wasn't because of the cities ...
