How are VMP records?

I see that some of the records I want are issued by VMP ("Vinyl Me Please").  What do people think about these issues in general?

I have a couple of them purchased 2nd hand and the pressings are good. The ones I have are Byrd's Fancy Free and the JM's Freedom Rider.

I don’t have any but for what I’ve heard they are mostly good.

Like most reissue labels, they are at the mercy of the labels. If they are sent a good tape or digital file to cut from, they're fine; if not, they sound terrible.

Hearing they just let their subscribers know they filed for bankruptcy. So probably no new releases forthcoming.

I have several and they are very good.

They didn’t file for bankruptcy; they assigned their assets to their creditors and whoever now holds their assets is looking for a buyer. It’s a little similar to bankruptcy but different. 

At any rate, the company is probably finished. It was good while it lasted.
