JSngry Posted Thursday at 03:17 AM Report Posted Thursday at 03:17 AM Sounds like somebody had one to sell. Quote
T.D. Posted Thursday at 03:32 AM Report Posted Thursday at 03:32 AM (edited) As alluded to in the first post of the thread, Stefan sold a big portion of his collection on this forum some years ago. The levels were pretty generous to forum member purchasers. Edited Thursday at 03:34 AM by T.D. Quote

Was reading the thread and did some research. I considered posting a link to his offerings, but the numbers were kind of double-edged so I passed. 😶 The Turrentine and JJ Mosaics have never traded strongly AFAICT. I've always considered $75 the default price for Turrentine and I'm not surprised to see JJ offered at the same approximate level. I bought JJ (which is very good) at a cheapish price, but forget the number. Does the discogs seller have a good sales history? There are still scammers out there. I had a discogs seller take my money and never ship the discs. I had to go through discogs and PayPal to get my money back. Just the other day, I found a very affordable copy of a CD I've been looking for and the seller's feedback was terrible so I didn't pull the trigger. Quote

So far so good in terms of getting tracking for items purchased and receiving in said condition. Didn't know the Byas was still available, but got one from a member here. Rebuilding my collection, but not needing everything by and artist or group anymore. I've been listening to a LOT of live recordings, especially those issued by Elememtal/Jazz Detective and recent live Blue Notes. I was able to pick up the Lee Morgan live at the Lighthouse lp set for about list price. Edited Thursday at 11:50 AM by Stefan Wood Quote
