Joe Henderson: The Milestone Years (8 CD box set)

Offered for sale is a great, and quite uncommon, box set. It took me a long time to find a copy of this title but it is now time for me to downsize my collection and let someone else enjoy it. I am listing this cheaper than any complete box set currently listed for sale from a U.S. seller on discogs or eBay. And I am listing it close to what I paid for it myself about 5 years ago.

Outer box, CDs, jewel cases, and booklet, are all in Near Mint to Excellent condition with just some shelf wear to upper corners of outer box and a black marker line through the bar code on lower rear cover of outer box. All CDs play perfectly.

I remember picking up that box (maybe 20 years ago?) when it was being remaindered, and his Milestone years were less respected. I think it was going for less than $20.

I got the set full-price 1-2 years after it was first released — and it was probably the very first non-Mosaic box set I ever bought.  I think I only had 3 Mosaics at that point: the Hill, McLean, and Cherry boxes.

That Henderson box is easily one of the top-10 jazz boxes I’ve owned — and maybe top-5 actually.

I've had that box for decades but didn't listen to it much except for the album with Woody Shaw.  Hmnnn... Time to give it a spin again.
