Thanks for the heads-up!  I'm in for the Brooklyn Academy and especially the 1985 Montreux (magic happened there on a regular basis) CD's.   Hesitant on the CD with Monty Alexander, seems like both pianists would have to compromise their styles to possibly mesh.

Very cool indeed.

Randy Weston has not been well-represented in the 1980s.  The Brooklyn Academy disc is interesting for having such a large band--a fairly rare thing for Weston.
