Peter Johnson Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 The powers-that-be in my office recently bought a Nespresso machine--the kind that makes espresso from color-coded capsules. Yum! It's not the real thing, no, but it's damn close. I'm wiped out today--out late almost every night this week--and am having a shot now. Who else is into the midafternoon espresso tip? Quote
jazzbo Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 I can't cuz I'm at work but I'd love a mug of my favorite (and I indulge in it at home everyday) coffee: This stuff is so good I can barely drink anything else. Quote
Shrdlu Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 I love espresso. I got a chemistry apparatus to make the real thing at Costco for next to nothing. They had a big stack of them, and they all went in one day! This type of coffee has an advantage over a regular-sized cup for us old fogeys. There is less liquid for a given amount of caffeine, and you don't have to find a bathroom as soon afterward. Most practical. Quote
jazzbo Posted April 16, 2004 Report Posted April 16, 2004 Well, I feel better, just made a date to meet Helen at our favorite Indian restaurant, The Clay Pit, where I can indulge in their MARVELOUS chai, really a treat! NOW I'm watching the clock! (Now? ) Quote
