jazzbo Posted December 2, 2021 Report Posted December 2, 2021 It's fun. I was a big Ronnie Laws fan at the time. Quote

Some not so much. It's not as bad as its reputation. Who did the "Blue Note / New Note" introduction? Edited December 2, 2021 by Rabshakeh Quote
jazzbo Posted December 2, 2021 Report Posted December 2, 2021 It was "Rosko" https://www.discogs.com/artist/250691-Rosko Quote

No, I have a compilation (I think it's of all or most of of them) and don't know where one lets off and the other or others begin. In any case Collete seems to me to be consistently tasty throughout. Jim Hall too. Quote

My daughter, then aged abput 8, used to be very puzzled by the cover picture. 7 hours ago, John Tapscott said: Now playing: Edited December 3, 2021 by BillF Quote

jazzbo Posted December 3, 2021 Report Posted December 3, 2021 Antonio Carlos Jobim "Stone Flower" CTI/King Records Japan cd RVG remastered version. This is a favorite that I haven't played in maybe a month. . . overdue for a revisit! This time the RVG cd version, which I like a lot. This disc also helps me to gauge where my system is at and there have subtle improvements in the sound due to some changes. Quote
jazzbo Posted December 3, 2021 Report Posted December 3, 2021 Weather Report "Sweetnighter" Columbia LP I still listen to this LP I bought when this title was first released. Has held up remarkably well. Love this music, one of my favorite from this band. Quote
HutchFan Posted December 3, 2021 Report Posted December 3, 2021 Jerome Sabbagh - The Turn (Sunnyside, 2014) Outstanding record and band. Quote
