Nice post, it was this group that basically pulled my listening habits out of the ‘50’s. Happy to say I got to see them several times at the 1369 Club in Cambridge and once in downtown Providence for a lunchtime concert (yeah, that happened).

Reading the article now and listeing to Saturday Nite in the Cosmos! 

 

Over chirstmas i listened to the entire Mosaic Select Blue Notes while I was sick in bed. Thanks for the reminder for me to tackle those Soul Note and Timeless records!

This.  Best working band of their time?  Maybe, if there even is such a thing as best or time.  And I love the one with Sco sitting in.

A great band for SURE. I was fortunate to see them a number of times. Always on fire! The Timeless and Soul Note albums are my favorites.
